1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using Copinance, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Copinance for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization. During a private pilot, a valid invitation may be required and may not be sold or transferred.
2. Education only. Not financial advice
Copinance is a self-directed research, education, and financial-literacy tool. It is not a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser, portfolio manager, fiduciary, tax adviser, or legal adviser. Using Copinance does not create an advisory, brokerage, fiduciary, professional, or client relationship.
You should form your own conclusions and, where appropriate, consult a properly qualified professional who understands your circumstances. Labels such as “bullish,” “bearish,” “edge,” “conviction,” or “probability” describe model outputs only. They are not trading instructions and do not mean that an outcome is likely or suitable for you.
3. Trading and data risk
Financial data may be delayed, estimated, adjusted, incomplete, or wrong. Corporate actions, liquidity, market closures, provider outages, and calculation choices can change a result. Verify prices, contract terms, filings, and events with primary sources and your broker before acting. You alone are responsible for investment decisions and compliance with rules that apply to you.
Before trading standardized options, review the current Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options published by the Options Clearing Corporation and the risk materials supplied by your broker.
4. AI and model limitations
Coach and some narratives use generative AI. AI can confidently produce inaccurate, outdated, or fabricated statements. A response may omit context, misunderstand an attachment, or fail to reflect current conditions. Inspect the cited evidence and perform independent research.
5. Accounts and security
Sign-in is currently provided through Google. Give accurate account information, keep access to your Google account secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.
We may restrict, suspend, or deactivate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, investigate misuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. You may deactivate your account from Profile & settings. See the Privacy Policy for what deactivation means for retained data.
Copinance and Copinance Pro are paid, recurring product plans. Prices, currency, billing interval, taxes, renewal terms, and any cancellation or refund rights are shown at checkout. Our payment processor acts as merchant of record and handles payment details, invoices, and subscription management. Unless the checkout terms or applicable law say otherwise, a subscription renews until canceled. Cancel through Membership before the next renewal to avoid the following charge. Losing product access does not cancel charges automatically. Personal AI-provider usage fees remain separate and are your responsibility when you use your own API key.
Every new account receives a one-time 14-day trial of Copinance Pro, starting at signup. Product access ends when the trial expires unless you subscribe — the trial does not renew or convert into a paid plan automatically, and no payment method is required to start it. Annual subscriptions include a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase; contact support to request a refund within that window.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to violate another person’s rights.
- Circumvent access controls, probe or disrupt systems, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, models, or infrastructure.
- Scrape, bulk-download, redistribute, resell, or create a competing dataset from the service except where applicable law expressly permits and cannot be waived.
- Reverse engineer the service, remove rights notices, or misuse Copinance branding, except as permitted by mandatory law or a written license.
- Abuse rate limits, automate excessive requests, share invitations improperly, or use the service to manipulate markets or facilitate deceptive trading activity.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, dangerous, or privacy-invasive content.
7. Your content and feedback
You retain rights in prompts, attachments, and other content you submit. You give Copinance a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, and process that content only as needed to provide the feature you requested, maintain and secure the service, troubleshoot problems, and comply with law. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit it.
If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, but this does not transfer ownership of your unrelated content or personal data.
8. Copinance and third-party rights
The service, software, interface, branding, and original explanatory material are owned by Copinance or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal educational purposes.
Market data, company names, trademarks, model outputs, and third-party services may belong to their respective owners and may carry additional restrictions. Links and integrations do not imply endorsement, and third-party services are governed by their own terms.
9. Availability and changes
Copinance may be experimental or offered as a pilot. Features, providers, coverage, limits, and availability may change. The service may be interrupted or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that any particular symbol, market, model, or history will remain available.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated reasonably in advance when required by law. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted; otherwise, you may stop using the service.
We may suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time for any reason, including if we cease to offer Copinance generally. Where practicable, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice before a general shutdown and a window to export your data. If you hold a prepaid subscription at that time, we will refund the unused, prepaid portion on a pro-rata basis. This does not limit our right to suspend or terminate access immediately for suspected misuse, legal risk, or security reasons under section 5.
10. Geographic and regulatory scope
Copinance currently focuses on U.S. market information, but access from a location does not mean the service, an instrument, or a strategy is lawful or appropriate there. You are responsible for the laws, market rules, taxes, and account restrictions that apply to you. We do not represent that Copinance satisfies any broker, adviser, exchange, or regulated-recordkeeping requirement.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Copinance is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that market data, model outputs, AI-generated content, calculations, or other information will always be accurate, complete, current, error-free, or appropriate for any particular purpose.
Copinance does not guarantee any investment outcome or that any information or model output is suitable for a trade or for your individual circumstances. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, consumer rights, security obligations, or other responsibilities that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
12. Exclusion of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Copinance and its contributors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or related to use of the service, reliance on market data, model outputs, or AI-generated content, or any investment or trading decision. This includes direct and indirect losses, trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, and consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
Copinance is a self-directed research and educational tool. You remain solely responsible for verifying information and for every investment or trading decision you make. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude, including applicable mandatory consumer rights.
13. Disputes and general terms
Before filing a claim, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally. The law and forum applicable to a dispute will be determined under the rules that apply to the service and the people involved. Nothing in these Terms limits a mandatory consumer protection or right to bring a claim in an available forum.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
